ROLLER POSITIONERS

For continuous seam-tracking and keeping the welding torch on the optimum path during welding process we developed different systems which can be included in our welding machines or can be installed on existing equipment of other producers. The systems are supplied incl. motoric slides of proper length and payload according to the specific application.

  • AVC – UNIT FOR CONTROL OF TORCH-DISTANCE TO THE WELDED SURFACE
  • MT11.3 – ELEKTROMECHANIC TACTILE SEAM-TRACKING SENSOR
  • LASER GUIDE – LASER SYSTEM FOR SEAM RECOGNITION TRACKING AND MEASURING THE SEAM GEOMETRY

AVC – Arc Voltage Control – system is used for keeping the exact distance of welding torch to the welded surface by TIG or plasma welding.

Our AVC unit works with all usual welding power sources including that which are using the inverted polarity during ignition of the welding arc.

After ignition the system is constantly measuring the arc-voltage and comparing it with a reference value, stored in the system´s memory. The reference value is set digitally through the operating panel or determined automatically during the initial welding period. According to the size of deviation the system corrects the height of welding torch by motoric-driven slide.

AVC is supplied as supplied as autonomous equipment incl. switchboard and motoric slide of proper length (for supplementary fixing-up) or is by the delivery of welding machine integrated in the control system.

For seam tracking during mechanized / automatic welding we offer our tactile seam-tracker type MT11.3.

In the rugged sensor-body the mechanic movements of the feeler are transformed into analogue outputs which correspond to the feeler-deviations from the central position in both vertical and horizontal directions.

Analogue values are filtered and processed by special algorithm along with data-corrections in accordance with inclination of sensor body, length of feeler and direction of welding. The torch-position is changed automatically by motoric cross-slides according to these values in delay which corresponds to distance between torch and feeler and speed of welding.

The LaserGuide system is a powerful laser profiling system, which has been designed for welding and other joining processes. It may be used for seam recognition, seam tracking or inspection. Rugged design and efficient software ensures the proper functioning even at difficult conditions during welding.

With the seam recognition software it’s possible to determine the welding position and to measure the seam geometry. Based on these results seam tracking and adaptive control of the welding process can be performed.

As well it’s possible to do inspection of already welded seams or perform general measurement tasks.

The system may be interfaced to different robots or welding machines. With the user friendly programming interface the system can be adjusted and the results can be watched.
